Continue past the ad without playing it to the challenge. Do this even if you are familiar with the commercial. We'll let you play it in a minute. We know it's hard to wait you will persevere. We have faith in you and the accomplishment you are about to claim :)
This ad for Orbit gum is funny and you cannot deny that. We especially like, "pickle you cumquat!" In fact the hilariously creative argument distracts you from a scenario that is played out in our media quite often and has become so normal that it is relatively rare for some one to cry unfair.
The challenge...
1. Mute the audio on your computer and watch the video. Jot down what you see quite literally.
Example- A man, a woman, angry faces, etc.
2. Next to what you have seen, write down what you think this means.
3. How does this portray our society, men, and women? What will we think is normal?
4. Post a realization you've had or an interesting thought. Will you support Orbit by buying their gum? Why or why not?
